Admission: Free.  Ohana100, DKAFF covers the workshop cost, including dinner.

The Educators Workshop provides teaching professionals with essential insights and resources. Participants will explore strategies to enhance teaching, foster a love for reading, and develop vital literacy skills.

Visiting speakers will share expertise in a supportive environment, promoting effective educational practices.

Kathy Maemori, M.S., CCC-SLP - "The Role of Early Literacy in Child Development", Instructor John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders University of Hawaii Speech and Hearing Clinic.

Patty Zika - "Overcoming Classroom Obstacles/Challenges in Early Literacy" , Primary School Principal, Pembroke Central School District.
