With our GO! READ project volunteers read to children in-person and/or remotely.
Reading to children helps improve their literacy skills but also fosters a love for reading from a young age. It enhances language development, boosts imagination, and strengthens the bond between adults and children.
By investing time in reading to children, we are investing in their future success.

This is a FREE week long summer camp full of service activities. Participants immerse themselves in various hands-on experiences aimed at making a positive impact on their community, such as reading to kids visiting senior centers, planning service events, meeting guest speakers who talk about importance of service and so on.
Participants also develop essential skills such as leadership, communication and teamwork. By working together towards a common goal, participants forge strong relationships, gain a deeper understanding of community resources, and ultimately emerge as compassionate leaders dedicated to serving others.
